"Ogburn v. Vampires" originally appeared as a bonus story at the end of the "Vampire Crusade" print comic (2009). Ogburn appeared in a print comic and short webcomic, both against only human enemies. I wanted to put him up against something more dangerous in a fight. I like the bonus story to fit in with the main story in some way, even if it's not the same characters. I was probably going to have Ogburn against zombies, since he is a sort of uber-zombie himself. I decided instead to have him go against vampires, in keeping with the main story of Vampire Crusade.
