In some ways, Veronica is like other children at her school. She loves Lucha Libre, and doesn’t love math. She loves her mom, and doesn’t love chores. But none of the other girls or boys owe a debt to Santa Muerte like Veronica.

While walking through the cemetery, Veronica crossed Santa Muerte. To repay her debt, Veronica must be the Reaper’s soldier. She must take on demons, monsters, and anything else to which Santa Muerte directs her. Veronica never knows what her next task will be, but being factotum for the Grim Reaper has its benefits. She can now transform herself into a warrior to face the evils in her way.
